2021 Australian Open
Australian Open 2021 has been re-scheduled and will now take place from 20-23 May 2021
It is a registered event with Archery Australia and World Archery operating within their guidelines and under the NSW COVID 19 Rules.
Venue:
Sydney Olympic Park Archers is located at Sydney Olympic Park Archery Centre Bennelong Parkway Sydney Olympic Park NSW 2127. Public transport is available to the range.
Entries:
Entry is limited to Compound and Recurve archers in the Open age group. Rounds shot will be:
Compound: WA 50/720
Recurve: WA 70/720
Barebow Recurve WABB 50/720
Entry fee is $170.00 (which also includes Team Events) – online entries only

Thursday 20th May – Registration and Practice
9:00am to 2:00pm Event Registration is open
10:00am to 12:00pm Practice
2:00pm to 4:00pm practice
4:00pm Range close
Friday 21st May – Registration and Ranking Round
7:30am registration opens
8:30am Bow Inspection
9am Practice
9:30am Scoring commences
Saturday 22nd May – Matchplay (Eliminations)
7:00am Sign In opens
8am Individual Matchplay Practice 2 ends
8:15am Scoring commences with the first event being the 1/16 Individual Matchplay RMO, RWO, CMO, CWO
Sunday 23 May – Matchplay (Medal Rounds)
7:00am Sign In opens
8:00am Practice field open for medal matches
8:30am Scoring commences with the first event being the Recurve Women’s Team Bronze Medal Match
Teams:
Teams and mixed teams must be submitted prior to the ranking round
Teams and mixed teams (depending on numbers) may have a cut line of top 16 or 24 teams
Dress Regulations:
The Organising Committee will be enforcing Archery Australia Rules (7.10) in respect of athlete’s dress.
Medals:
These will be awarded and presented at the venue on completion of the event.
Results:
Scoring will be both paper and live using Archers Diary.
