2022 Pathways AARDP Coaching Symposium

On the back of the successful inaugural Pathways AARDP coach symposium held last year, Archery Australia will host its second Coach symposium and are extending the invitations to more coaches across the country.

A fantastic range of experts have again been arranged for the daylong event that will be held online on Sunday 27 November. Coaches will hear from a range of experts with diverse backgrounds with an overall theme of working in and developing programs.

Experts will include an Olympic archery medalist (who will discuss coaching from an athlete’s perspective) Archery Australia’s Strength and Conditioning lead, Wellness and Engagement lead, Archery Australia’s Head of Coach education committee, along with a range of other great archery coaches.

The day will again be recorded and available for the coaches of the AARDP (Australia’s Development program) who coach some 130 athletes across the country. The aim of this program is to gather this important part of our Archery Community and share their valuable experiences.

If you have any questions regarding the symposium, be sure to reach out to our Pathways Manager on robertturner@archery.org.au
