A moment 45 years in the making.

Yesterday in Canberra, members of the 1980 Australian Olympic Team were formally acknowledged by Federal Parliament for their courageous and unique Olympic journey to the Moscow Games.

Archery Australia is proud to recognise Scott Dumbrell, Carole Toy (dec) and Terence Donovan, who represented our sport at the 1980 Olympics during a politically complex and challenging time. They were among many Olympians honoured in person, joined by family, friends, and teammates from across a wide range of sports.

Thank you to the Australian Olympic Committee for leading this important moment of recognition, and to everyone who helped celebrate the legacy of our 1980 Olympians.
