| This special target event has been organised to encourage our junior archers to maintain their competition skills and to offer all others an opportunity to gain competitive experience.
Only 6 Junior Compounds to date has achieved the perfect score of 900. Could you be the next? Could you be the First Recurve Archer to achieve it? |
PROGRAMME: NEWCASTLE – 90 arrows @ 20m, 122cm face
DATE: Saturday 1st November, 2025
ENTRY FEE: $28.00 for all participants
GRADES/AWARDS: (1) Awards will be presented to 1st, 2nd & 3rd placings in each age group & discipline* (*refer note below).
Note: There will be 1 Longbow Division, and 1 Barebow Division, regardless of age / gender of competitor*
- The round will be broken into 5 ends of six arrows, with a total of 15 ends being shot (90 arrows). A small break will be held at the conclusion of each five ends.
An “ALL GOLD RANGE” Medal will also be recognised should an archer shoot five (5) consecutive ends of six (6) arrows, within the brackets listed above – Total of thirty (30) arrows not previously achieved.
- An “ALL DISTANCE GOLD MEDALLION” will also be recognised should an archer shoot the complete round with all arrows scoring 9’s or 10’s, not previously achieved.
KNOCKOUT: There will be a knockout competition, open to all archers, while scores and placings are being checked. The Top Compound and the Top Recurve will each receive $100 Voucher from Archery Supplies
LOCATION: Northern Beaches Campus (formerly Cromer High School),
Cnr. South Creek Road & Inman Reserve, DEE WHY WEST.
COMMENCES: Registration 8.00am, Equipment Inspection 8.30am, First arrow will be shot at 9.00am.
CLOSING DATE: 29th October 2025 – Only those entries registered on line will be accepted, no email entries and/or phone entries will be accepted. Members should ensure that if they are newly registered as a member of Archery Australia to allow enough time for their name to show up in Archers Diary
