Archery Australia is seeking qualified members to express interest in becoming a Coach Presenter/Assessor to help with the national training/reaccreditation process.
Currently each RGB has one or two people established in these roles however we more talented presenters as COVID-19 stalled the reaccreditation and training process.
Course Details
The cost of doing the presenters course is $350. The Course will be run at a location in each RGB and successful candidates will have their travel, and where necessary, their accommodation covered by AA.

If becoming an AA Coach Presenter/Assessor interests you, please read the information below and provide an EOI to the AA Operations and Integrity Coordinator via email by 27/4/2021. amaxworthy@archery.org.au
Your EOI should provide a brief outline of your archery journey along with any relevant information pertaining to the following requirements.
Two references would also assist in the evaluation of your EOI.
The course the successful applicants will undertake will be presented by a professional course presenter from outside Archery Australia.

13.1 Level 1 & Level 2 Presenter/Assessor Qualifications
All Australian Archery coach courses and accreditation will be delivered and assessed by Archery Australia accredited course presenters/assessors. These qualifications will ensure the process for accrediting archery coaches is of the highest calibre with a standardised process/content across all its RGBs.

On completion of the AA Presenter Course and Approval of the Candidate as a AA Coach Presenter:
The Course Presenters/Assessors shall:
Complete the ASC Presenter/Assessor Training Program at own cost or as directed by Archery Australia.
Have access to a range of resources (technical and educational) as deemed necessary by Archery Australia.
Deliver the approved Archery Australia Coach Course content as detailed in relevant Presenters workbooks.
Archery Australia shall have the right to:
Approve course presenters not covered by the above criteria after evaluating relevant experience and knowledge of the sport and having regard to the prevailing circumstances.
Conduct random checks to assess the quality of delivery of the course being conducted.
13.2 Presenter/Assessor Training
Archery Australia will be responsible for the continued education of their presenters and assessors using the Archery Australia Presenter/Assessor Training Program. Participants of these courses will become accredited, placed on an Archery Australia learning database and receive certification. Any assistant or trainee presenters/assessor must be supervised by an appropriately qualified presenter/assessor.
