AA Compound Coach Annoucement

Archery Australia is pleased to announce the appointment of Patrick Coghlan and Peter Feeney as National Compound Coaches. These highly experienced and accomplished individuals will lead the Australian Compound Team over the next two years that will include World cups and a World Championship.

Pat is a renowned figure in the archery world, boasting an impressive career as an archer, coach, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. His exceptional achievements include over 9 international medals and 36 National Championship Gold medals, culminating in a World Archery World Ranking of 2 in Target archery. Coghlan’s passion for coaching has spanned 15 years, during which he has mentored countless archers, from beginners to international representatives.

Peter brings over 15 years of experience as a Performance Coach, with a proven track record of developing world-ranked archers. His extensive involvement in the Regional Development Program (RDP), including his role as RDP Coordinator for New South Wales, has provided him with invaluable insights into talent identification and development. Feeney’s coaching highlights include leading the Australian Archery Team at the 1st Youth Olympics in 2010, several World Cups and the recent success at the World Field Championships in Canada this year.
