I took up archery in 2019, I was looking for a sport where I could be competitive. I initially shot a recurve bow for 18 months. I competed in my first Australian Para Nationals and got silver in open men’s recurve. I was later classified as W1 nationally and transferred to the compound bow. I received my international classification in Dubai 2022 where I competed at my first international competition and finished 7th overall. Later that year I finished with a silver medal in the UK at their disability championships.
In 2023, I competed at the World Archery Para Championships in Pilsen, Czech Rep and finished with gold and earning a quota spot for Australia at the Paralympics in Paris 2024.
