To promote skills development and support participation in the sport of archery at all levels. To promote a safe and enjoyable drug free sport. At the AGM, the results of a postal vote were announced of the election of 6 members to the Archery Queensland Board. Following the AGM the new Board met to elect the President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. Your Archery Queensland Board consists: President Strafford Stark Vice President Neil Stallard Treasurer Brian Hagaman Secretary Naomi Etheridge Board Member George Neilson Board Member Michael Schilling The Presidents of both NQAA and SQAS will also attend Board meetings in an advisory capacity. Immediate actions include: ★  Finalisation of details for our 1st archery event to be held on 25 August. Further details, including invitations to enter the event, will be forthcoming in the coming weeks. In the meantime make sure you keep Sunday, 25th August free for this historic event! (We intend to schedule further State events such as Target, Clout, Field and Flight, in 2014.) ★  Finalisation of an Archery Queensland logo and uniforms ★  Preparation for the next Government funding rounds. The Board will be aiming to move Archery Queensland from a fledgling organisation to one that will make a real positive difference to archery in Queensland. This will not happen overnight and I ask for your assistance and your indulgence as we move forward. Thank you, Strafford Stark
