Stay a little longer.

If you are registering for the National Target and Para Championships in October then consider making your stay a little longer with side to take in the sight to see in Hobart.

The Discover Tasmania app (including links to the app as in NYC) can help you plan things to do, see and eat during the championships and before or after your stay. Here are just 3 suggestions to say an extra day.

  1. The MONA – no visit to Hobart is complete without a trip on the MONA Ferry to the Museum, a place that has to be seen to be believed and always remembered.
  2. The Salamanca Markets – every Saturday the waterfront comes live for the open air markets. Grab yourself a famous scallop pie!
  3. Climb Mount Wellington – if you still have some energy left after competing then you can walk up Mount Wellington, a walk from the waterfront to the summit for panoramic views of Hobart.
