RGB Teams Locked In for the 2026 National Youth Championships

Recurve, Barebow and Compound squads confirmed from across the country. Here’s who’s heading to Launceston to represent their state.

RGBs state teams locked in for the national youth championships

The 2026 National Youth Championships kick off in Launceston next week, and the RGB teams are locked in. Alongside the individual competition, the RGB team scores  will build some state vs state competitive excitement as the RGBs put their best young archers forward.

How the Teams Event Works

Each state and territory have entered a Recurve Team and/or Compound Team of up to eight archers, drawn from any age division (U14 through U21). This will be a competition within a competition.

As the competition proceeds each archers individual score will be accumulated to add to the team score. The nominated team members shooting  the 900 Round, 720 Round, and Marked Field gets their score counted. The team scores come from the best three off-the-bow scores across each of those three events.  So you will have to wait right till the end for the final results.

If teams are tied, it goes to Xs on the target events and 6s on the field.

The Teams

Here are the confirmed Recurve and Compound teams for each state and territory. Not every RGB has entered both divisions. Where a division isn’t listed, no team was nominated.
