Archery Australia President

At the first meeting of the Archery Australia Elected Board Members, Sue Gliddon has been elected as the Archery Australia President and Brian Hagaman has been elected as the Vice President.

Sue Gliddon has gained a valuable perspective of the sports industry including working for the University of Western Australia, where she managed 28 different sporting clubs and a 33 hectare multi sporting precinct and in her current role as the General Manager for Water Polo Western Australia. Sue also worked with Archery WA in a part time Development Officer role for seven years.

Sue brings a wealth of experience to the role and has previously been a member of the Archery Australia HP Committee, Para Committee, Youth Committee and when required, Appeals Committee. Sue has been appointed numerous times as a Team Manager for Youth, Para and Open teams which have added to her experience in the High Performance field.

A decision on the Archery Australia Appointed Board Members will be made next week.

2021 World Archery Championships – Selection Policies

Please note that due to the unprecedented challenges experienced in 2020 with the COVID-19 pandemic and uncertainty surrounding international competition in 2021, the 2021 international calendar may change which will potentially effect team selections.

 

2021 World Archery Events – Selection Policy

Archery Australia are looking to enter teams into a number of World Archery endorsed events in 2021. These events are all outdoor Recurve (70m), Compound (50m) and Para (various).
