Media Release At its meeting this weekend, Archery Australia elected a new President and Vice President. Brian Hagaman of Brisbane is the new President and Sue Gliddon from Perth is Vice-President. Both have been serving Board Members for a couple of years and relish the challenges ahead of them. They replace retiring members John Chaplin OAM and Bruce Lang who, between them, have served a combined total of over 32 years working for the sport. John Chaplin congratulated the incoming President saying, “I know Brian and Sue and the other members of the new Board will give Archery Australia the leadership and direction which will enable it to face the challenges of the future for our sport.” Other members of the Board are Ed Crowther, John Hyde and Dr James Park. Brian Hagaman said, “I am honoured by the appointment. This is an exciting time for archery in this country……..”
