BacktoArchery  Tournament

Medals and Awards for BacktoArchery Tournament

Given many clubs in Victoria are still unable to participate in this tournament, and we have now completed week 2 of the available six weekends, the event has been changed from a National Tournament and will now be known as an Archery Australia Tournament.

Bearing this in mind and with the amendment to the Officials required on the 16/9/20 (see attached) the following should be considered regarding claiming medals and WA Target awards.

Medals: All Gold and Perfect Medals can be claimed at the Bronze (Club) level.

WA Target Awards: These awards can only be claimed when a shoot is registered with World Archery through AA.

New or Beginner Archers Wishing to Participate in this Tournament

Archery Australia want archers of all abilities to participate in the BacktoArchery Tournament. We are aware that not all archers have the experience to shoot the longer distance required and would encourage these archers to participate with their club mates but by shooting a shorter round than their age division and bow type requires.

However, as these archers will not be shooting the correct distance for their division they will not be considered for any awards for their age/bow type, nor will they be considered for any awards for the distance they shoot.
