Archery Australia Appointed Board Directors

We are seeking two (2) highly skilled candidates for the role of Appointed Director. 

Archery Australia is committed to strengthening diversity and gender balance across our leadership, and to comply with the National Gender Equity in Sports Governance Policy, the board requires gender balance in its composition.  

 

Therefore, we are inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from women and gender diverse candidates for the two vacant appointed roles. We are seeking candidates who would like to contribute their skills and experience to the Archery Australia Board.

 

We welcome candidates with a broad range of professional backgrounds. Experience in areas such as corporate governance, people and culture (HR), law, fundraising or other senior-level roles relevant to a national sporting organisation will be highly regarded.

Finance, Audit and Risk Committee 

Archery Australia is seeking suitably qualified individuals to volunteer to join its Finance, Audit & Risk Committee. This is a governance role providing independent advice to the Board on financial governance, risk management, and cybersecurity as part of the organisation’s strategic oversight.

 

Archery Australia is committed to strengthening diversity and gender balance across our leadership, and to comply with the National Gender Equity in Sports Governance Policy, the FAR committee requires gender balance in its composition.  

 

Therefore, we are inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from women and gender diverse candidates with finance or accounting expertise (CPA or equivalent preferred) for the vacant position.

Athlete Committee

The Archery Australia Athletes Committee represents the athletes voice to provide AA with an understanding of athlete views and offer ideas in areas directly related to athlete participation.

Expressions of interest are now open to join the athlete committee by completing the EOI form below by March 15th

Athlete Wellbeing and Engagement Lead

This part time role is based in Canberra at the AIS Archery Australia Centre of Excellence, this role will support the continuous development of identified athletes in the high performance program as part of our committment to win well in sport and life.
