Archery Australia Appointed Board Directors

Archery Australia is committed to strengthening diversity and gender balance across our leadership. 

 

We are inviting expressions of interest from women who would like to contribute their skills and experience as one of two Appointed Directors on the Archery Australia Board.

We welcome candidates with a broad range of professional backgrounds. Experience in areas such as corporate governance, people and culture (HR), law, fund raising or other senior-level skills relevant to a national sporting organisation will be highly regarded.

Finance, Audit and Risk Committee 

Archery Australia is seeking suitably qualified individuals to volunteer to join its Finance, Audit & Risk Committee. This is a governance role providing independent advice to the Board on financial governance, risk management, and cybersecurity as part of the organisation’s strategic oversight.

 

We are particularly encouraging applications from women and gender diverse people with finance or accounting expertise (CPA or equivalent preferred).

Athlete Wellbeing and Engagement Lead

This part time role is based in Canberra at the AIS Archery Australia Centre of Excellence, this role will support the continuous development of identified athletes in the high performance program as part of our committment to win well in sport and life.

NSW Participation Lead 

Help grow and support the sport of archery in NSW. 

This role will work closely with the Recognised Governing Body (RGB) of Archery NSW and Archery Australia to pormote inclusivity and participation in the sport through increasing participation opportunities in the community, school and underrepresented groups in the sport and across NSW rural regions. You will also help to support the NSW clubs and archery community to support volunteers, build engagement and develop initiatives and ideas to help grow the sport of archery.
