Archery Australia and Burnie Bowmen have made the very difficult decision to postpone the 2021 National Youth Championships.
We know this will be heart-breaking news for many of our youth archers, and it was not a decision made lightly by Archery Australia and Burnie Bowmen.
Due to the uncertainty surrounding interstate travel and the consequent low entry levels, the decision was made to postpone the event.
COVID-19 Pandemic
Archery Australia is closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation to ensure our archery community stays safe.
We are doing everything we can to ensure the 2021 National Youth Championships will go ahead later in the year in some format. To ensure this and the safety of our archery community, Archery Australia is currently working closely with all relevant parties regarding an online version of the 2021 National Youth Championship. Once details are finalised, we will provide more information on how a possible 2021 event will look.
Thank you Burnie Bowmen
We would like to thank Burnie Bowmen for their hard work over the last year in these uncertain times. It’s disappointing news that our youth archers can’t enjoy all the work Burnie Bowmen have put into their range, it really is looking fantastic.
Please note the Youth Matchplay has also been postponed.
All entry fees will be refunded shortly.
