COVID-19 Update – All Club Archery Activities to Cease

At this unprecedented time, we understand that everyone is impacted in some way and want to express our best wishes to everyone within our archery community.   Archery Australia would like to provide an update (01/04/20) in relation to the current COVID-19 pandemic.   All Club Archery Activity to Cease: With the updated Government Guidelines around COVID-19 announced surrounding non-essential gatherings (Click Here), Archery Australia recommends all Archery clubs cease all Archery activities for the foreseeable future. This includes individual practice on Club grounds. Please note that Archery Australia’s insurance for Archery clubs cannot be guaranteed if the club fails to comply with both the latest State and Federal Government Guidelines surrounding COVID-19.      Thank you again for your continued support during these difficult times. This support shows that we are a community of people which is passionate about Archery. We know that Archery is a sport for everyone, that at your club you belong and that we will return to normal activities when this situation is over.   Maintaining social connection during this period of social distancing is important and we will be working closely with the RGBs and clubs to find ways to stay connected.   Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in contact with the team (info@archery.org.au) or, if you have any State/Territory specific questions, please contact your RGB.    Links to both the Federal Health Department website and the State/Territory Health Department websites can be found here: Australian Government’s Department of Health COVID-19 Website – Click Here Local State and Territory Health Departments – Click Here
