Australian Para Archery Team announced for the 2019 World Archery Para Championships in Den Bosch. A strong Australian Para Archery team has departed Australia to compete at the 2019 World Archery Championships in Den Bosch, The Netherlands 3-9 June 2019. The World Championships double as a qualifying event for the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games. The Mens Compound team will be led by Rio Bronze medallist Jonathon Milne along with Peter Marchant and Craig McMurdo. Marchant is currently in career best form after winning Silver at the 5th Fazza Para Archery Tournament in Dubai last month. Pete shot a PB of 693 in Dubai and defeated Rio Silver medallist Alberto Simonelli (ITA) on the way to his Silver medal. Ameera Lee is Australia’s sole female team member and will be looking to transfer her strong domestic form into podium finish in Den Bosch. Hazel Hockley and Craig Newbery will also be competing in the Visually Impaired 1 and Visually Impaired 2/3 respectively.
