The 2022 World Games is coming up on 7 – 17 July 2022 in Birmingham (USA).
About the World Games
The World Games is 11 day international multi-sport event for more than 30 of the fastest growing sports in the world including compound and field archery. Supported by the International Olympic Committee, the World Cups 2022 will hosted 3,600 athletes and over 100 countries.
Selection Policy
Based on World Archery’s allocation, only one Compound –Men position has been allocated to Australia. Click here to read the full selection policy.
Eligibility Criteria
- To be eligible for selection in the Team for the Competition, an athlete must:
- Have lodged your registration in representing Australia at the Competition to AA by using online link click here by 31stMarch 2022.
- Interest for the purposes of this paragraph requires a potential team member completing the online form click here and shooting the required MQS.
- By lodging this online registration to represent Archery Australia at the Competition, athletes are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to be bound by this Policy
- Be affiliated, and in good standing, with AA;
- Meet all eligibility rules, including any age requirements, imposed by WA (if applicable);
- Be eligible to represent Australia in the Competition. This requires that an athlete be born in Australia, is a citizen of Australia or is otherwise eligible to participate as a member of a National Team within the operation of rule 2.4 of the World Archery Rules
