BIOGRAPHY:

I started archery in my early 20s, when I looking for a new sport to try. After my first come n’ try session, I was hooked. I had my own equipment within a week and you couldn’t get me off the archery range.

Getting into the top 4 at my very first Australian Open in 2019 was a turning point for me in archery. It lit a fire in me to explore just how far I could push my archery skills, so I kicked my training into a higher gear. And, to top it off, I selected for my first Australian international team later that same year.

One of my proudest accomplishments to date is making it to the top 8 in the Recurve Women’s Team event at the 2022 World Cup in Turkey, where I proudly teamed up with Sarah Haywood and Laura Paeglis.

What keeps my interest for archery burning is knowing that mastering it is like chasing a never-ending adventure. There’s a constant stream of new discoveries to be made, and it’s this ever-evolving aspect that serves as the lifeblood of my training and to keep pushing myself.

Plus in the archery community, I’ve made lifelong friends. It’s not just about the sport; it’s the camaraderie, the jokes, the stories, and the good times we share both on and off the range. I probably spend more time with my my fellow NSWIS (NSW Institute of Sport) archers than with my own family, and it these friendships that help you through the hard days of training.

Archery is not just a sport; it’s a way of life, and I’m grateful for every moment I’ve spent on this remarkable journey so far.
