The live events will be held as follows:

  • Stage 2 – Lausanne 19th – 20th December
  • Stage 3 – Nimes 15th – 17th January

Remote events can take place in two ways:

The WA IWS is open to Recurve, Compound and Bare Bow Recurve archers with both male and female divisions. It is an OPEN event so there are no age divisions. Archers will be ranked via their best three (3) scores.

The 18m Indoor Round can be shot either indoors or outside. However, any WA Registered IWS Tournaments must be shot Indoors under tournament conditions with the correct complement of judges. Prizemoney is also available through the Teams event for Recurve and Compound. An entry fee is required, and team members MUST shoot at a WA Registered Tournament.

2021 Archery Australia Regional Development Program

A great deal of work has been undertaken by the AA High Performance team throughout the COVID lockdowns to better resource and grow the AARDP program. The Archery Australia Regional Development Program (AARDP) began 3.5 years ago and is a nation-wide development program that looks to aid archers in RGB’s towards national representation.

During the lock down Archery Australia approved an increase in funding to all AARDP programs along with greater resourcing and a new, more consistent program structure. Archery Tasmania and Archery ACT have both approved the creation of an AARDP program for their membership. Both will connect their new programs to already established programming in their RGB.

Archery Australia can also announce that Archery Victoria have a new AARDP coordinator. Jan Lyons of DVA will replace Amanda Barkway, who after 3 years of work with the program, has stepped down. We thank Amanda for her effort and are excited to have Jan coordinating in Victoria.

To learn more about the AARDP program updates, along with the contact details of the program in your region, Click Here for more details. Programs are currently active in these RGB’s – South Queensland Archery Society, Archery New South Wales, Archery ACT, Archery Victoria, Archery Tasmania, Archery SA and Archery WA.
