AUSTRALIAN ARCHERS IN SHANGHAI Australia was well represented at the recent World Cup in Shanghai The team members were – Compound Men: Pat Coghlan, Danie Oosthuizen and Tristan Barrett Compound Women: Madeleine McSwain, Louise Redman and Niamh Jones Recurve Men: Ryan Tyack, Sam Strickland, Kane Wilson Recurve Women: Belinda Maxworthy and Ella Byrne Full results CLICK HERE  The Compound Women’s Team were invited to compete against South Africa at the rehearsal at the Finals Venue on the Friday afternoon. World Archery always carry out a full dress rehearsal to test the venue and most importantly test the live video feed. Participants shot individual, mixed team and team matches to test out all of the venue facilities.  This is a great opportunity for people to shoot at the Finals venue under the same conditions as the finalists. In fact the Women’s Compound Team won a shoot off against the South African Men’s Team.
