Coaching Information for Coordinators, Presenters and Coaches

 

 

Welcome to Archery Australia Coaching information and documentation pages.                                         

Archery Australia is responsible for the education, development, and accreditation of Community, Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4 coaches within Australia.

Archery Australia is also responsible for the training of Presenter/Assessors to deliver these coaching courses.

Regional Governing Bodies (RGB’s) will undertake the ongoing development and accreditation of Community, Level 1 and Level 2 coaches in line with Archery Australia’s coaching framework.

Archery Australia will be responsible for the delivery of the Level 3 and Level 4 coaching Accreditation.

Required Documentation for all levels of coaching:

    1. Current working with children/vulnerable persons registration card as required by each State and Territory.

Club, RGB’s and NSO to be notified of details and expiry dates.

      2. Adhere to the Code of Conduct as set by Archery Australia.

      3. Sign a “Code of Ethics” to be kept on file with Club, RGB and NSO.

      4. Complete a Generic Application for the coaching course.

Cost: As set by the RGB but must include the registration fee as set by Archery Australia

 

 

Community Level 1 Level 2 Level 3 Level 4
Community coaches accreditation allows you as a member of a community group to provide basic archery coaching within your organisation. Level 1 coaches accreditation allows you to coach beginners and Come and Try sessions. Level 2 coaches accreditation allows you to deliver beginner type classes, OzBow development programme. Assist club archers wanting to improve performance. Act as a Level 1 coach mentor. Level 3 coaches accreditation represents coaches who are continuing their coaching development and education within the national high-performance pathway. Level 4 coaches accreditation represents coaches who deliver programmes to archers wanting to gain representative status and maintain podium finishes. Act as mentor to level 3 coach.
